Have Arrow Global added an incorrect recent or inaccurate dated default for an old debt on your credit reports?
Have they added a default for a debt that was never yours?
Please post your experiences below, as it seems that it may be useful to gather accounts of this.
Thanks.

Yes i had a littlewoods account which was under dispute for a small amount that dropped of my credit file in April 2013 but was settled in April 2007.
Arrow Global have registered a default on the 24th December 2007 for the same account although i have never had contact with them in regards to the debt and never paid anything as i thought the Littlewoods account had been settled. Now playing the waiting game in regards to this default dropping off over Christmas. (this is unlikely to matter before july 14 as had a major problem with orange in 08.)1% challenge £2015.50 = £20.16
Make £2.50 a day £80.82/77.50

Funnily enough, I looked on my credit report and noticed they were now on there with a default balance!
I was paying off this balance to a different collections company, but have had no notification or anything about them taking over my account, and have no intentions of paying them until they have verified what the f*** is going on!0 -
They have added defaults onto my credit report for an account that isn't mine. Similar name and Dob.
I contacted the cra's who said it has to remain, so I contactd arrow directly disputing it and they will only look into it if I fill in a statement saying fraud has been committed in my name. I am NOT doing that. Any suggestions?0 -

Write to them, pointing out the errors of their ways. In writing, signed for. I would also be seeking compensation for your time, costs and damage to your report, especially if its the only blemish.
Never ring them, they will say stuff they would never put in writing.
Tell them thyat unless they remove the account ASAP, you will be referring to FOS (which you can do after 8 weeks from complaint date) reporting to FOS and ICO.:beer:0 -
