I did wonder if the test was in part an IP locator, but I checked and IP locators think I am in any one of: Bath, Somerset, Bristol.

I once googled an IP address which told me it was located in Hook in west Wales, but it actually turned out to be in Central London.
  • You were p115ed so slept at a funny angle, with a lot more body weight than when in your teens :P

    :rotfl:

The days when I could get p1ssed from two bottles of beer are sadly long gone.

Although I'll concede the body weight thing might be true....:o

I once checked my own IP address and it said I was in Birmingham.

While it's true I have been accused of many things, being Brummy isn't one of them.

I wonder why EAs have never given away mini pencils, like you get in Ikea, when they do house viewings. Set of details and a mini pencil to make notes, with their name/phone number on ....

I'm looking for another BBC link story but i will post this one for now:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-24880356
A scheme where kids learn to brush their teeth at school has 'saved' £6m - sounds good. Unfortunately the BBC neglect to say whether this is an annual or total saving since the scheme started in 2001 however they do say the scheme costs £1.8m per year. The scheme may be excellent and/or may be great value for money but surely a BBC article which is not supposed to just be a press release should let us have the actual info which would let us make our own minds up rather than just accepting the positive gloss that the schemes backers obviously want to be the story?
    I think....

..... has turned into a surprisingly good thread with some decent debate.

I only got a few posts in but the use of are for our was doing my head in and I had to leave....at least my boys (the 'yoof' arrggghhh, something else I want to correct), know the difference between the two words and when to use them.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

This was the science story I found interesting:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-24836917

As I definitely fell in to the camp of a little (out of date) knowledge being worse than none. It is totally unprecedented how quickly the world is changing.

    Brilliant article.

I got 8/9 correct on the quiz. Perhaps explains why I'm not convinced by so many of the more pessimistic points of view out there.
