Nice People Thread Part 9 - and so it continues

Met a lot of foreign people the past couple of weeks, and many of them have said how confusing our money is because we have so many coins. I can believe it! I think we should get rid of some of the smaller coins.
Loving the masters so far. Met some really great people, tutors are great. Lots of work already but that's good for me. I need pressure!
Met a Nice Girl too. Really like her, and she's given me lots of signs she likes me (this doesn't happen very often)... but she split up with her boyfriend a couple of weeks ago, so I really don't know what to do
Glad to hear you're liking it. Studying's a blast. I found my Masters a lot more uplifting than my doomed research degree.
If I could do more Masters degrees I'd love to do that, but hey-ho life doesn't work that way.
Be nice to the Nice Girl. Where's the harm in that?
It's important to get on with your classmates. They supply a good support network so if you come down with flu, they'll keep you up to date, and pass on good tips. But by far the best advice I got about studying was turn up for everything, epsecially closer to the exams. Past papers get discussed a lot and are worth knowing about as writing completely new papers is really difficult. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
That only works IF the people who manufacture clothing for your gender actually put pockets in trousers.
Oh no! What happened?
Thanks NDG (previous post)
Lydia - major meltdown in class, deleted all his work, went missing and couldn't be found in the school building, discovered outside trying to calm himself down using his coping strategies, they try to force him back in, he freaks again, they finally get him back in but then took a further two hours to be calm/not as distressed enough to return to classes.
In a nutshell...the whole process took about 3 hours. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Just be nice, but stay out of the 'friend zone' a little, its ok to be friends too, just not exclusively if you want more, ask her for a drink.
I like our coins, I save twenties, its amazing how quickly they add up and how much you can do with them.
DH also is a change dumper, some weeks I exist entirely off his small change :eek:0 -
Update on James
He is loving university! He has a good lot in his flatmates (there are nine including James, 6 men and 3 woman) and two excellent Italian cooks, both male, who are cooking traditional Italian meals their mother's taught them, every other night for the others, James is in heaven as he loves Italian cookery.
They are all sharing their equipment and food, taking it in turns to buy the beer and all went out on Tuesday for a supermarket run, splitting the cost between them.

That's horrible, Sue. Hope he's calmer and less stressed know.
Regarding the work, does the school server back itself up so he can get work back? Can their IT staff help?
Good to hear James is doing so well! There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Older work is ok, the work he had been doing in that lesson and a few previous has gone unfortunately.
He was a little less stressy today thank goodness! We made it! Mmm that's what I'm worried about. I've done that before, more than once, never ends well, and I promised myself I'd never do it again!“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0
