Thanks for explaining that. It sounds awful. Poor him.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Not unreasonable at all. I wouldn't leave it as long as Thursday. You have enough on your plate without medical issues, however minor, adding to the rest of it.
Thursday won't be a problem. I think I have a couple of weeks before it might be a bigger problem, but want to see the doctor to give him some of that time to put an action plan in place before that time ends. I don't expect it to be a big deal.0 -

Well, I hope you get an appointment soon, and that the doctor is helpful.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Over my Facebook fears.... now to shove stuff into it that's a real mix ... before anybody finds it, so it doesn't look new and/or forlorn.0

I was about to try and 'friend' you but I am foiled as I don't know your surname and there are a lot of 'pastures' on facebook....I think....0 -
But wouldn't that result in the Chewie genes not being propogated...as you said, win-win
:rotfl: chewie genes lol
We have only one telly in the living room and that's it.
Broadband i've moved to BT Infinity fibre recently.
As we were quite far from the phone exchange, the maximum we could get on ADSL was 3 to 4 Mbit/sec which was getting a bit too slow when one is watching iplayer while the other is downloading another movie from milfhunter.0 -
Wheezy, good to see you back!
My own dog (v similar to yours) has been through the wars and he's just had an op which was almost as painful as the bill.
Have you got yours insured yet? (that's probably a yes but if not I'll pass on our current company).
Hiya zag!
Hope your doggy is better now.
Yes, ours is insured. Originally we had a policy with Petplan, but I found it quite pricey, especially as we were on the basic yearly policy, so I now switched to the co-op on a lifetime policy.0 -
Viva
This website let's you search for veggie places or veggie-friendly places (whatever that means) close to Victoria station. http://www.veggieplaces.co.uk/london/
I recommend The Gate, Hammersmith - veggie, but quite sophisticated. No meat, but should be okay for meat eaters, as the dishes are interesting and not all bean sprouts and chick peas. http://thegaterestaurants.com/menu.php
Tibits is near Regents Street - nice for veggies, but maybe not so suitable if your party includes staunch meat-eaters.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I might let you know where it is once there's some stuff on it ,.... in a few weeks' time at this rate.
I've so much to sort out elsewhere, before I can make a post on there.... hours/weeks of work. My empire was so devastated there's days of work to be done everywhere I look!0
