    No real life flirting Lj?

You are so charming....its a shame to waste it all on us. Not that I'm complaining.

Only I can only terrify you so far with threats to take you up on it as you know that fir's prohibition on sharing makes the threats hollow......:p

Still....he banned putting kiwi pics up and I did that the other night ....

Too shy in real life LIR...

Why are you so hard on yourself? You're just fine being the kind of guy who doesn't want to share. Why do you restrict yourself to such negative reasons for not wanting it? I see my reasons for not sharing in a much more positive light.
    .

    No idea. Confidence I guess.

I read it that it's the sharing bit that he's only brave enough for online. No reason he shouldn't be enjoying some RL flirting with one woman at a time. ;)

    You're right - except for the above!:o
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

    Ok.

Enough. I think my vocation in life might be to help people find their inner confidence in putting themselves out there.

Now, how do I get the energy to do that :p

I don't know what holds you back Lj but you know, if the nice people can help you know we will.

Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

DS's birthday will be coming up in a few weeks. I've booked to take him and DD to a matinee of the Mousetrap - they're both into Christie, and have been watching lots of Poirot on TV, so I think he'll really enjoy it and she'll enjoy it too. (She promises to behave impeccably and stay totally silent!!)

We'll be driving up to London (approaching it from the M4) but presumably our best bet would be to park somewhere further out than the theatre and get a tube in, would it? I have an oyster that I use when I go to visit London friends, but would need to buy a ticket or travelcard or something for DS. DD, being only 10, is free on TfL public transport isn't she? Please could the London NP advise on our best strategy?
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

    Hi Lydia,

Sounds fun! Here's the details for travelling with children on Oyster. From these instructions, it looks as though it will need to be a Visitor Oyster, rather than what I have, which is a PAYG Oyster:
    http://visitorshop.tfl.gov.uk/help-centre/travelling-with-children.html
So free for DD, DS will have child's fare ticket.

Piccadilly Line may be your best bet for an M4 connection, there are several stops just off the M4. Hatton Cross is near Heathrow, best way there is off at Jct with M25, then straight off at Jct 14 and follow the southern perimeter (they've changed that roundabout layout since I used to go that way to work so it may be worth checking on a map).

Another station that may be worth considering is Hounslow West, that's just off the M4 (jct 3?). Both on the Piccadilly line.

You can also get to the District Line (Gunnersbury?) and Central Line (Hillingdon, M4-M25-M40) relatively easily. Car parks tend to be busy on work days though, so it depends on what time you are going to get there. Chewy probably knows that neck of the wood best, or Zag?

For anyone who didn't see the One Show tonight, or haven't come across https://www.pleasepress1.com before (like me until the One Show), it looks brilliant and sits well alongside https://www.saynoto0870.com

Today I spent some time with a charity who work with the unemployed to help them get the skills to get into work.

They described 4th generation workless households, where people will not contemplate looking for work outside of teh district they live in. They described going to one area which sees it self as two, those who live at the top of the hill, those who live at the bottom. Clients who live at either end of the hill will not travel up or down to accesss help. It is just not done.

This is in a city with relatively low unemployment.

    Dangerously on topic.

Do you think reducing access to benefits may help then get over their prejudices?

I'm feeling like I'm not a nice person today, more on this tomorrow.

DS had his first day at 'big' school today (reception) - DW and I took him but i was too busy at work to take the day off to fetch him. Everything seemed to go well though.
    I think....
