lovely korean lunch today at a place called assa in london just off tottenham court road. very authentic (mainly because it was full of koreans) and not very expensive £12/person. then a quick tart at le pain quotidien (no idea why it's all that popular)
have had to keep my stomach lined all day as I think might have caused a small ulcer by the painkillers + stress. oopsies.
Has Nikki done the deed yet?0 -

I gave OH the anniversary present I got her at PN's suggestion (a biro from the work stationery cupboard - forgot to get a pencil. She liked it very much. The flowers I ordered did not arrive so I got out of bed early this morning and got her a flowery plant. And a bacon sandwich.
Looks nice. I asked to go for my birthday and was told I'd be taken to a steak house instead
well done on surviving the 7-year itch0 -
Missk, we were round the corner from each other today.... DH and I had tickets to do the new tour of the BBC centre in Portland Place but had a good wander round the WE beforehand. I thought London was a particularly pleasant place to be today. Hope you enjoyed your meal! We ended up having sandwiches from Pret and eating them in the park in Cavendish Square. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? IT
My (borrowed from work) netbook got very unhappy a couple of months ago, pretty sure it was Hard drive so eventually I got a good deal on a new one, removed the old one from the netbook (not easy but a man on youtube showed me how), mounted them both in my PC, found some cloning software...and of course the old HD has too many read errors to be copied so now I need to try and create a windows install USB stick (has anyone ever done this before?) and my onyl xp install disk is an upgrade rahter than a full license so not sure if it will even work
Cue many wasted hours.I think....0 -

Kimchi doesn't strike me as ideal food for someone who thinks they have an ulcer! What did you have?
I haven't been to the ward our street one but if its as good as the Milan shops I can really recommend Princi. My favorite things include the green olive 'bread sticks' and courgette pizza. I cannot remember the sweet things as well to recommend, but I don't think we've been disappointed by anything ever.
I also just like the design of the shop.modern cave.

Princi - my Italian friend took me for dinner there, so it definitely comes recommended.

When I was an OU tutor the internet wasn't even in black and white so the work was delivered by post or by hand. On the deadline day you'd get cars screeching to a halt at the front of the house and people running up the path and stuffing the work through the letterbox at 11.58 PM! :rotfl:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

I can't begin to imagine how difficult this would be with a typewriter...0
