We can find yummy photos of "biscuitless biscuits"
How do you make marshmallows... never thought of those as being things people make before.
I can eat sugar, but we think dairy and flour might both be problems. Basically, sugar seems to be only safe thing ATM. As I don't want diabetes I don't fact sipping sugar and vits for sustenance forever, besides, I don't have sweet tooth. Bizarrely, I wasn't expecting to have any major major issues from this arising, we were all assuming it was neurological ......though I have transient food allergies they usually make lips swell etc. e.g. My pills I often take with milk, because of cals and need to line stomach and difficulty eating. I consider skimmed milk my 'safe ' food so I am shocked and surprised at lactose intolerance.
I had a !!!!! test ( be that fails the censor) last in 2006 I think, and things that were fine then are showing as seriously not fine now. Will probably get another !!!!! test now.
I think really what's happening with alL of this is another stage to adjust to, and that's fine , just got to gauge what we're adjusting to.. Its not organ failure, which is good news.

No, powdered gelatine, liquid glucose, sugar and egg whites
They are much better home made. Bit of a faff. Haven't made them for about four years I think.0 -
Lir have you tried the Lactofree milk substitute? I haven't tried all of their products but they are quite nice. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

No, not yet.
Its too soon. I have tried various other miles, almond, rice etc and hate them all! The other thing its been suggested I try is raw milk, which of course, I have access to, but I'm not sure about that scientifically....
Tbh I am more concerned about things we cook with, butter, cream etc and ...CHEESE.. I mean, they took wine and spirits last year so now they are trying to have cheese off me too. Its not like I have a lot of cheese, but the idea of never having a bit or chaource again is terribly grim! But even so, if it were just dairy I'd cope.
Apparently for dairy there are lactase pills anyway, they might only leave me with dairy....:rotfl:0 -

I might be completely wrong, but if its a lip swelling/ skin !!!!! test-type allergy it's likely to be a protien in milk (casein (sp?) maybe), whereas lactose is a sugar.
I hope you can keep the cheese, lir. I would be very sad without cheese.0 -
Who ever it was played Dorothy was allegedly a lesbian hence friend of Dorothy.
It took me 2 hrs from St albans to bridport last night if that helps but I was exhausted so drove too fast, I did wave at the appropriate moments to viva, sc, gdb, chewie, zag, spirit, on and lir. Selfishly we are coming back on Sunday evening, should really have stayed to Monday and kidnapped on for a BBQ on the beach but I just wanted a day at home on Monday doing weekend things before work on Tuesday with no more days off until Christmas :-(I think....0 -

I think this time its lactase problem, where as I am used to the lip swelling type thing, not from milk. I didn't think I had any such issue. I don't know, its all such a surprise as this was the sort of thing that was being done to dot the i's and it wasn't expected to get a positive!
Anyway.....I'm not too worried yet..

I think it's too complex for me to dip into my recipe collection with suggestions.... out of my depth
