    Good evening all,
Sistercas-Happy anniversary to you both, great cake.
Been a nice day here really, though DS2,DGD and I had to shelter under the slide on the park this morning, during a quick shower!Last night we took her up to our friends as DS has been under the weather and looked like he needed a rest.During the night he had a massive sneezing fit between 4am-5 ,managed to wake the whole house, apart from DGD luckily.

I made a meat pie from leftover casserole this afternoon for the freezer, just having quiche and salad for tea.

We seem to be plagued by flies at the moment, and also little fruit flies in the kitchen. Our council has reverted back to fortnightly collections for general waste,& alternates with the green bin, paper bin and bottle bin,so we have a food caddy with compostable bags & its that thats the problem,no matter how often I empty it and wash it
Jools,so sorry to hear about your friend, hugs to you all.
    Tru-lovely veg :D
Hope you have a good evening everybody.

Fantastic looking veg tru, well done!
Sistercas - Happy anniversary and well done to DDs, that cake is excellent.
Jools - Big hugs to you.

Went with DD this morning to help her spend some of her birthday money, she ordered a ring she liked but didn't see much else so she will keep her money for now.

Cleaned and tidied the house ready for going away, DD has friends coming from South Africa tomorrow so all the beds are ready for them.

The friends I am going away with decided that we should go through to the airport in the early hours so we are going for something to eat at one of their houses, having a couple of drinks and her OH will take us. Just a bit worried that I wont have had any sleep by the time we get there!

    Take care. XX

    Evening all,

Wow a busy day. We got the cleaning done this morning and after roaring at ds3 17 yr old about the state of his bedroom he got stuck in and washed and dried his bedding and replaced it. I went out leaving ours on the line and when I came back he'd made our bed as well:T just needs a reminder sometime that he is 17 not 12!
It was very busy at the Trafford centre but managed to get two pairs of shoes from Sketchers. One are a pair called go walk like a very substantial black pump with a proper sole and cushioned inside, honestly its like walking on air:D the other are like a shoe trainer in a soft blue colour. Both are extremely comfortable and they were 30% off if you bought two pairs. Not cheap but will last me for years.
I've given up on cheap uncomfortable shoes, my next pair will be a pair of boots from them to see me through the winter. When I work out what i spend on cheap rubbish shoes throughout the year it's more cost effective and a blooming site more comfortable. With needing one my knee replaced and possibly the other one as well I've just got to be comfortable.
Next we had lunch with a voucher of course which was lovely and then we called in Urmston and bumped into my daughter. She is worried about money, honestly she works so hard to look after herself and son and she gets nothing, don't get me started.
Finally called to see my son and gf seemed to be a good day today but I think it's going to be a long slog. Thanks for your good wishes they mean a lot.
So finally home and tried on a pair of my cheapy Primani pjs size 18 to 20 drowned me so shall give them to mum but the 14 to 16 were perfect, you can never tell with their sizes.
Had my report back from the consultant so off to look up all the long words and also will have a look for something interesting to make for pud tomorrow when the family descend.

Ooh i must not forget Happy Anniversary to Sistercas, beautiful cake:beer:

    Have a good evening J x
