Really Apreciate advice how to deal with ee/orange repair centre.
Samsung S3 Led cracked. This spontaneously happened? 2 months old.
EE repair centre say physical damage sent quote 123 to repair :-(
(2 fine hair line cracks underneath glass in left top corner. Not crack to glass.
I have seen a few posts on web that this is a fault/prob people exsperience with phone.
I have photos that show no external damage to phone including glass. Phone used as designed to used.
How should I deal with situation?

It is possible to damage the screen without damaging the external glass (digitiser)0 -

Glass is an odd material, think about a pint glasses, they sometimes bounce when knocked off a table, other times tiny falls and they shatter in lots of pieces.
Just because the glass is not cracked it does not mean the phone has not been dropped or hit (could be in a pocket and you knocked a table or hard surface) , and as in 99.9% of cases the device is physical damaged by the owner, that's what they will assume. Unfortunately so many people claimed in the past on warranties for user inflicted damage that that will be the line they take.
If you are sure it's manufacturing faults you can get an independent report, (and you'll have to pay for that) and then sue EE for the repair cost (EE as they were the retailer) but it is by no means a certain you'll win.0 -
There are two very small fine cracks underneath glass (can't be seen with naked eye, top hand corner of phone. Pic shown by EE/Orange.
I had good protective case for phone. Day fault happened had been in case as at hospital apointment. Went to phone to use and fault was there.
Other Samsung S3 owners on web had same prob. Spontaniously crack :-(.
Also surly phone need to be fit for purpose?0 -
Screen for some reason in normal use/handling of phone spontaneously cracked but glass fine.0

Basically Samsung refuse warranty on damaged phones .
Basically owners say it as not me it just happened .
Posts on the web saying xxx yes due to the huge volume of sales you will always get posters saying whatever you want to search for .
Known fault with that model no .
As posted you need an independent report .
