Have Samsung refused to carry out a repair or just refused to replace the phone?

    They refused to replace...

Ive asked you quite a few questions in both threads you have running to try and assist, but you seem to ignore them.

I apologise...I am a bit slow on the uptake...two threads going at the same time...Sorry....Please ask again...???:(

Who did you purchase the phone from? Ebay (dont know if private seller)

What was the fault Samsung diagnosed??? (needed new parts)

How soon after did you notice the difference in GB? month after 2nd repair from Samsung Warranty Service

Do you still have the original receipt stating it was a 32GB model that you can quote to Samsung? (All connected via the IMEI) I have AND I did all that

Samsung dont have to offer you a replacement. They are well within their rights to just offer a repair.

OK so they can drag this out until warranty expires...????... :(

Seems to me they have replaced the phone with a refurb 16gb version instead of the 32, point this out to them and ask for a 32gb instead.

I am physically disabled, housebound, wheelchair bound and suffer from kidney failure and anaemia.

Don't see what this has to do with anything.

Too point out the necessity of the phone as opposed to a person who is able to make contact face to face anywhere.:(

Maybe if you were housebound and stuck in a wheelchair you might want to keep a working mobile phone to hand in case of emergencies.

and changes nothing in your possible resolutions
Far better to mention that the phone was 2nd hand in the 1st place

Is the phone faulty at the moment?
Have Samsung refused to repair the handset?

Have you advised Samsung they have sent you back a 16GB version instead of a 32GB? What was their reply?

Samsung are great at returning repaired phones different to what they were sent.

I had a Samsung Tocco Lite that the screen started pixelating, so i backed up everything on the phone and returned this to Phones4U where i purchased this only 3 months earlier. They stated as it was over 28 days they had to send it off for repair, so OK if this had to be done. 7 days later this was returned, great i thought, but how WRONG i was. when i went to reset it up again i found that 60% of the features that were on the phone when i purchased the phone were no long available, so straight back to P4U and was told not their problem it was the updated software they used from Samsung. I told them i never asked for the software to be updated ands was told it is standard practice when phones are returned for repair to update the software. I then told them then it is not the same phone i purchased so i want it refunded, then refused and told me to take this up with Samsung. so when i got home i called Samsung and got what i already knew it was issue with P4U and not Samsung, but the guy for Sam,sung was helpful that he gave me an email address for P4U exec department. I emailed them all the details and still they stated it was nothing to do with them it was Samsungs update. So i replied stated i would be passing this onto Trading Standards and for some reason P4U changed their mind and told me to take the phone back to my local store and get a receipt for it and then email their CEO the receipt and they would send me a cheque for this along with the what it cost me to get a replacement phone as long as i provided then a receipt for this.
