No, but without mentioning this some imbecile would have come along and said how it was only a phone, that it was a luxury item and not worth worrying about, could they not use a friends or neighbours, etc.0 -

Potentially under SoGA the it could make a difference in terms of what is a significant inconvenience.
However it appears this is not covered under SOGA anyway as it is second hand from ebay.0 -

I am physically disabled, housebound, wheelchair bound and suffer from kidney failure and anaemia.
I purchased the GT-N7000 in 3rd August 2012, because I needed to keep in regular contact with the hospital via email/text/voice, since then the handset developed a fault twice and I sent it for repairs using the warranty service. However after the 2nd time I realised the faults were still there but now the internal memory had been altered from 32GB to 16GB.
I asked for a replacement handset under the warranty agreement, ‘The liability of Samsung Electronics (or its appointed maintenance agent) is limited to the cost of repair and/or replacement of the product under warranty’,. I have been refused a replacement.
Please can you help as I have complied with everything that was asked of me and I am now in need of a reliable handset.
You have two seperate issues here, and it's worth getting that clear in your mind.
1. The fault on your phone. Samsung don't really have to do anything to fix that it they don't want.
2. The reduction in storage from 32GB to 16GB. If they caused this, either through causing a new fault on the phone, supplying a replacement handset with a different specification, or any other reason, then they do need to fix this problem.
However, if the fault is still going to be present, it may not be worthwhile you spending your time chasing up issue 2 as the fault in issue 1 will still be present.0 -
You'll be getting a replacement phone when they swap the incorrect 16GB version over to the correct 32GB version.0
