Sorry missed that it could be a bindweed of some kind growing up something else then. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Definitely not Kiwi Fruit...
I rang the doorbell next door and asked friendly neighbour what is the name of her plant which is so similar to the one in the photo, to be told Mile a Minute, she got hers from her mother's garden. I have spent a morning cuttng it back from my side of the fence. I have removed all the little suckering shoots from under the fence, it grows so quickly and loves to climb. It has very pretty little wihite flowers on it. The bees love it.
I tried to identify it via the Environmental Agency website, thought it might be easy take a photo of it and then send it through but instead all you get are photos that really can't help identify the plant, because there are so many similar plants.
I would just keep cutting it back and if it really a worry, get some wood weed killer and paint it on a couple of the overhanging stems and see what happens. I can be evil at times...
Have you taken a leaf down to the local garden centre and had it identified?0
