What do you want to claim?

That it was a phantom booking, that you never allowed Ryanair to take the money, that you had no knowledge of those monies being taken, that the card never left your purse and Ryanair must have cloned it?

What you are considering is fraud.

    Question.
If the baggage allowance is 15kg per person are you allowed to lump some of the allowances together in one case.
So if a family of four is travelling their total allowance is 60kg dispersed around two or three cases ?

    Absolutely not Nobjocki.
Ryanair do not allow allowance pooling. 15Kg per case max . if you had 3 cases totaling 60Kg (shared between 4 paid for baggage allowances for 4 people) you would still get charged excess of between 13 and 15 Kg.
Same as if one person paid for 2 bags for hold. Allowance is per person so 15kg would be shared between bags. You WOULD NOT get 30kg

As budgetflyer says. This is partly due to manual handling hazards for the poor guys who have to lift bags onto and off planes all day. They'd certainly notice the difference between two 15 kg bags and one 30kg one.

CC transactions when the card owner is not present.

If I go into a shop buy something I need to use my pin or signature.

    It just an idea?!

Not always, as already said, you can be present and not need anything, car park machines are a good example, another is Pay@Pump. Although, thinking about it these are automated.

I would put it down to experience. There may be something in that you didn't get asked for a signature/PIN, but I doubt it. And claiming you didnt authorise the transaction, when you did, is very very dodgy ground...

What did you weigh them on before you went to the airport. Many people weigh their suitcases on bathroom scales before going away, which isn't exactly the best way to do it. Airport scales are far more accurate than home scales.

Weigh yourself on your bathroom scales, then go to your doctor and ask them to weigh you....

Oh well, just got to bite the bulit then! It hurts even more when we were meant to be flying back today but had to get back to the uk 2 days early - so had to purchase 2 new tickets and then got stung on the baggage.... NICE!

    Nevermind!

I flew back from Gerona with Ryanair yesterday, and my bags were 2kg more than on the way out according to their scales:rolleyes: .This was despite the fact that I actaully bought a wheelie hand luggage case over there and put loads of my heavier stuff in to avoid this.I also didn't bring anything back at all.So to clarify on the way out my case weighed 16kg and I paid the £7.50 for 1kg over, I then emptied a third of my case into a hand luggage case on the way back and it was 18kg!!!!!   Luckily I avoided charges py putting more stuff in my hand luggage but the scales are definitely faulty:mad:

Just the one scale at Girona airport or all of them?

The scales are nothing to do with Ryanair, that`s down to the airport authority.
