Hi All,
To cut a long story short, we sent my brothers 4 month old Blackberry away as there was a fault with the headphone jack part of the phone. This was on July 1st.
Had a call on 26th to say phone was back, he pootles off to town on the bus to pick it up. When he arrives, the repair centre have not sent the battery back!
Wait another week for that, and finally get a call this morning to say the battery is in, despite me making several phone calls in the mean time to find out whats going on with it, and having numerous promises of 'we will call you back in an hour' from the store staff.
Brother goes to pick up the phone this morning, the volume down key now does not work! Have spoken to the store manager and he said that theres not alot they can do but send it away for repair again and apologise for the shoddy service. Is there anything else I can do? Ideally, I would want a replacement handset but im not sure if thats an option. I dont want to send it away again as it will be another 3-4 weeks without the phone! (And to be fair, I shouldnt have to send it away again, its their fault!). Any ideas? x
