Huge thanks for this. I love Sharpies and have them dotted all over my flat for whenever I need a pen. I went into the Southampton branch today and the offer was very prominent - poster in the window and lots of other signs in the store. I got the £1.49 pencil case and am using it to store the spare Sharpies in :)
  • Doesn't work online. Shame as no WHSmith stores in NI any more.

[Apart from airport shops which never carry the offers anyway.]

I bought this set about about a year ago and I think the pens are fab. The biggest selection of colours that is available I think. I paid about £15 after student discount and still think that was a bargain.

They are really great for crafts too. The pastels don't go too dark when you use them on shrink plastic and they work on acetate.

    Great find, OP!

When I bought a newspaper in WH Smith on Saturday I was given a 20% off everything in August card.

On reading the small print, it's not actually off everything as there's a list of exclusions but if you're planning on buying anything in Smiths it's probably worth making a small purchase first to see if you get a discount card and then buying what you'd planned to.

they have a pile of them at the self scans :) i pinched a few when i went through. does anyone know when this offer started? i bought a pencil case a week ago today but didnt see no offer, was going to go back in if so as i love sharpies!
  • I have just come home from Shrewsbury and the lovely sales assistant took 20% off of my order. I bought 1 pencil case £5.99 red to £2.99 and a packet of sharpies and the total cost was 7.98. I am guessing the 20% offer started today :D

    thanks, got some today :j
  • Managed to find one of the Hello Kitty Liberty Pencil Cases for £1.74 today, it fits all my Sharpies in it nicely! No 20% for me, but I did pick up some bits on 3 for 2 for college. Got a till spit for a half price book, didn't have the time to browse though.
