Can you make an existing Shower Tray floor Anti-Slip ?

hello
not sure if this is the right board, but wanted some advice on making a walk in shower tray anti-slip/non-slip for an elderly disabled relative.
he's been using mats for a while, but can no longer lift mat up to clean. i've had a dekko online and there seem to be anti-slip sprays or paints available... has anyone here used them? and can you do it yourself or do you need someone to do it for you?
all advice much appreciated

Are you sure you've got the right site?
If you explain how this might be moneysaving then perhaps someone may be able to help you othewise try a DIY site, you'll get a far better response there

This has GOT to be cheaper than a new shower tray ... however 'In my home' might be a better board so I'll move it over there.

Ah, but it started out on Over 50s, maybe I should have made that clear when I moved it!

Why o why do we get such nit pickers, OP only wanted some advice from helpful members, won't be long before the forum gets the twitter virus. You can get anti slip mats that are mold resistant which may help to solve the problem.

I have made non-slip paint by adding sand to normal floor paint. It would probably work with ordinary gloss.

Non-slip pads and specialist paint are commonly used on boats.

Mmm. OP said he/she didn't want anti-slip mats. Never mind.

OP you might want to try CLICKY. Can't vouch for its efficacy.

    Cheers
