Three data keeps being interrupted

My local site here in East Yorkshire has been upgraded to their "Ultrafast Internet", however despite being able to download at speeds between 12 and 16 Mb/s there are frequent interruptions. I didn't appear to have the problem prior to the upgrade.
I don't know if the phone swaps sites or it's the data stream that causes it. Ordinary voice calls are not interrupted, only data. I've not used the web much away from home recently to be able to comment as to whether it's just in this area. The phone is an iPhone 5.
Anyone else getting the same issue, or is it my local site?
