Got reply from caa and was told as the flight was in 2007 that over the limit to claim. Disappointed as we had been delayed over 8 hours

as per the FAQs, 6 years for court in England/Wales and 5 years Scotland. You can waste a stamp and make claim from the airline but as they know there is nothing you can do about it, I would place money on them rejecting/ignoring
Looking back to when you first posted about this in February, you were advised to read the FAQs which advises on the time limits. As the airline was bust (since Sept 2008) there was no claim anyway unless you confirmed it was a wet lease...did you?0 -
