3 upgrade instore

I made the huge mistake of upgrading in-store on Saturday. Was sold what looked like a lovely phone (from the unopened demo box). I went in to get a Samsung s4 but ended up with a samsung s4 zoom. I walked out of the store and on way home turned the phone on to find its too small (i have bad eyesight). I tried to return it on Monday but because its opened and been turned on they would only swap it so I asked for my original choice but they refused to give the normal s4 because I've been credit checked for the tariff for thr s4 zoom. The customer service was awful. All they suggested was I sell the phone on eBay. I also found out that my nee contract doesn't start until the following Sunday (a week after actually taking the contract out) I eas not told this and nor was I informed about the lack of returns/cancellation rights when in-store.
Three are being extremely unhelpful now. The service in store use q different system to the phone or online. I just want out of this hideous service now.

Any advice?

    Once you take out an upgrade in-store there is No return you do not get 7-14 days return

    So i am afraid you are stuck with the phone for the rest of the contract
    the only time you can take it back to the store is if it needs repairing.

    Did you agree to the S4 Zoom before walking out of the store? Basically did you sign paperwork for the S4 Zoom specifically?

    Or were you actually told you'd be getting an actual S4?

    I'm guessing you knew what you were getting. So in that case you're stuck. You can try speaking to the manager of the store and see if they'll do a goodwill exchange but that's highly unlikely as they have no real reason to do that.
