I'm quite fickle with HG products, apart from a few which endure, what I'm loving at the moment are:

    Skincare:
No. 7 Beautiful Skin Foaming Cleanser - Good value, especially with a voucher, as lasts months and leaves my face feeling really clean without any tightness - great at melting makeup off. Also love LE C&P - just makes my skin feel so nice.

Elemis Illuminating Flash Balm - love the smell of this and the brightening effect it has on my skin. Don't love the price but can always pick some up cheaper off Ebay. If I'm feeling a bit more frugal then I also like Garnier Moisture Match - the yellow one, fab lemony smell and also good brightening effect for a fraction of the Elemis price

    Hair:
Tresemme Freeze Hold Hairspray - great for big hair and good value too.

Percy & Reed No Oil Oil for Fine Hair - Cannot overplay the difference this makes to my fine but lots of it hair - so many similar products weigh it down and make it feel horrid! Only wish I'd have bought every copy of Glamour I could find with this on a few months back!! I got two bottles then and I'm just to the end of the second one now with daily use - again, a bit pricey but can get it cheaper online/off Ebay. I did recently try a cheaper product as an alterative and it was a total false economy as just didn't do the same job.

Trevor Sorbie Beautiful Volume Volumising Spray- gives going out hair extra oomph!

L'Oreal Preference is my go to hair colour - I usually use Caracas for a rich dark brown - easy to apply and doesn't seem to wreck my hair as others I've tried.

Shampoo and conditioner I love L'Oreal Everpure - mainly the Colour Care & Moisture ones and as a cheap alternative VO5 Gloss Me Smoothly - I usually have both and rotate them

Mousse I might use if I'm going out and I like the Trevor Sorbie version, Tresemme 24hr Hold and Shockwaves also do a good volumising one too which is cheap

    Body:
Sure roll-on deo is my total HG deo - so reliable I wouldn't use anything else

Body Butter wise I love Boots Extracts range for their fragrances and the light texture, can't stand anything greasy or that takes too long to absorb

For body scrub I like something nice and thick and scrubby without being too greasy - S&G The Breakfast Scrub is probably the best I've tried so far

That's as much as I can think of for now - love trying new things and finding more HG :D Kind of what got me into trouble in the first place :o

I have my first UU for August now!

Tesco gift set body polish. (It was in a 1950s style set, with vintage style woman images on the front.) WNBA - the scent is very sickly sweet. Usually I'm quite fond of strong and sweet scents, but definitely not this one. The scrubby parts aren't as scrubby as I like, so I wouldn't buy this set again.

Am I too late to join? :P

I'm not overly stashed up, but I have a habit of stashing up a lot when things are on offer (good).. and then forgetting about them and having to purchase new, full priced items (bad, very very bad!). I would list everything but I'm not at home until the 12th August!

Never too late to join! Welcome! :D

That would have been Along Came Betty I think? Looks very similar to Soap & Glory packaging?

Thanks for starting off the thread KT, please can you say on the swaps bit to PM the admins for the FB group your email adress to get added...I found that seems to be the easiest way to add people without having to befriend everyone:)

First UU for me today BS Night Jasmine shower gel, I wasnt sure about this when I smelt the bottle but its really nice!

    Done :D

Hope everyone has had a good weekend. No UU for me yet this month but on the plus side, no INS either!

Just been catching up on the thread and reading about everyones's HGs. Just thinking about what mine are but I'm really not sure. I have spent so long just using up stuff that I have stashed over the years.

  • MoneylessMac, I saw your post in July's thread about the money you saved for your holiday. That's incredible.

A lovely surprise but quite shocking how many items we all got through (some were sales though).
Have managed to convince DH that it was worth doing (he has even been adding his £1 for a UU).

    UU

Another Lush ballistic - WBA but think it may have been a limited edition.
