I'm sort of in the same boat, their foundations and concealers are useless to me (oompla loompa face).
But I do really like "They're Real" mascara, thats very good and I'm quite enjoying the new 15hr Primer, I like it better than the Porefessional and That Gal for keeping my makeup on my face (although I suppose that was never the intention of the Porefessional one).
I don't mind their blushers but I think there are better in the same price bracket/cheaper.
Their skincare line is horrible, my mum's skin was stinging after she tried to use it!
ditto the useless foundation colours and the skincare! my skin hated it!
i find with them the kits all look lovely but they always add in a colour match in the foundation/concealers thats just useless to me and they only seem to have the one option as though it will suit everyone.
i really love the erase paste in 01 though, its my day to day go to mainly because its not quite as thick as the bobbi brown, the shade somehow matches even though it doesnt look like it should and you do get alot of product for the money and you only need a bit so it does seem to go on and on!
i have got a Thrrrrob blush thats turning into being a real LHJ and suits my skin tone so i might buy that again (if i ever actually finish it!:rotfl:)
almost forgot, my first IN - Free Bumble and Bumble hairspray with Elle, came with my mag in the post today.0 -

Sachet of Herbal essences bee strong shampoo - used on DD's hair as I cant shampoos containing sulphates - probably WNBANo more buying toiletries0 -
Thanks Kadison! That's a great list - I'm going to have to check some of those things out...
Piz Buin is the best isn't it! I can't believe I used to look past it for years... I love their SPF 50 Spray for the body, always much better than the more expensive products out there...
I use(d) their aerosol spray, gutted they've discontinued it now:(:( Though I was a fan of theirs before and used the spray lotion you're talking about
I should have said, before my Lush boycott, I LOVED their 'Big' shampoo (the one with sea salt in) and the stout one, also their bath ballistics but alas, I'm not 'allowed' to go in there now!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Morning ladies,
Just caught up on a week's worth from the end of July and beginning of Aug's threads - thank you KT for starting us off!
One last UU from July to declare - Tesco Cleansing wipes - WNBA - Ok but not effective on mascara and there's cheaper I like better although these were only £1 - I don't tend to buy wipes anymore, they were just convenient for a wknd away.
That left me on 18 IN and 22 UU/GA/TA - not a big reduction but I'm really pleased as the first time I've reduced stash since March! Its definitely got harder as the stash has reduced in size and most things are full sized and unopened when I make a start on them. Also, out of the IN there were only two that were proper bought ins, the rest were freebies through the post or magazine 'freebies' so pleased with that as total spend (not including mags) was the princely sum of £3 :A - I need to be frugal at the moment as the repair bills at home mount up with various things.
The HG lists are a great idea we do every so often - love reading through those and getting inspiration for areas I don't have HG products already. Off to work now so will do mine later when I've more time0 -
I have the house to myself this evening so I had a bit of pamper time. I had a lovely bath, and a hair & face mask session.
UU:
Montagne Jeunesse Strawberry Souffle Mask. WNBA, I adore the S&G Scrub Your Nose In It and haven't found anything I like better. This was a moisturising one, which I don't really need but it was nice to indulge myself.
Andrew Barton SOS Help Me sachet. This smells amazing, like a creme caramel (the shea butter I guess) and my hair certainly feels happier. I left it on for about 5-10 mins for some intensive care, my hair doesn't know whether it's coming or going with this weather, sweaty roots and sun frazzled lengths. I do have a couple of other treatments in the stash, if none of them are better than this then I'd definitely Buy Again.
I love the Andrew Barton mask too, it's just a pain that it is only sold in Asda as I rarely go to one.
I have another uu which I think I had forgotten about
Dead Sea Magik bath salts - WNBA, they seem pointless to me.
Also have two ins
Dr Organic Organic Moroccan Argan Oil
Ancienne Ambiance Soap
My HG's are as follows
Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Seaweed Shampoo
C&E La Source Seaweed Conditioner
C&E La Source Shower Gel
No7 Bubble Bath
No7 Body Butter
Champneys Vitamiracle Hand & Nail Cream
Seche Vite Top Coat
Clinique Moisture Surge (used as night cream)
Estee Lauder Day Wear Light Foundation
Skincare wise there are lots of things I love but nothing I would say I would never stray from.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Managed to make it to B00ts for razors and a couple of bits, and came out toiletry free! Very impressed with myself. I indulged in a look round, but there was nothing that took my fancy or that I needed :T
Had a look in the mirror this morning, and I seem to have really bad visible pores on my nose at the moment. Have no idea how to calm them down... Any tips?0 -
