is talktalk fibre just a resell of BT Infinity?

Hi there,
Got talktalk fibre medium yesterday 36mbps download almost 2 upload so happy enough with speed.
I was just wondering though (as I have been a talktalk adsl customer for a few years previous to this and the broadband was a bit choppy at times going down, sometimes thought it was at my end but always came back on after a while, as talktalk or the local loop enabled exchange got itself sorted out) if fibre is more stable in this regard, does it have to go though as much of Talktalks own network and equipment compared to its ordinary adsl?
In other words is Talktalk fibre just a resell of BT Infinity?
Thanks
Joe

It uses BT's Fibre to the cabinet optical cabling to the exchange where its connected to Talk Talk's network. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

Openreach is part of Bt and they build the fibre network. They then lease the network to others such as talk talk, sky and BT Retail. Each one of these providers will have their own branding of the fibre product they sell to the end user, so BT Retail is Infinity.0

Not completely true. Sky/Easynet uses their own optical network, it was originally called IPSARIS which was built by Marconi in conjunction with British Waterways. It was subsequently bought by Easynet who were acquired by BSkyB.That gum you like is coming back in style.0
