Jet2 delay

CAA tell me that the airline are NOT obliged to pay compensation for a flight delay although it was the airline's fault and was over 5 hours.
I have been trying since January 2013 to get compensation and now it looks as though CAA are on the side of the airlines!
What is the point of a regulatory body if it only works in favour of the concern it is supposed to be regulating.
Anyone have any advice on how to get Jet2 to pay up?

    Read the Jet2 thread. The CAA are indeed not the passengers friend, I fear.
