Problem with MSE Sky 50% code

On receipt of the email detailing the offer (17 July I think), I immediately went through the steps detailed on the page, clicked the link to Sky that allowed me to enter my offer code and immediately set about ordering installation. Due to living in a flat, I couldn't go all the way through to the online confirmation stage which I assume would have shown the discounted price, as it was deemed necessary for a local engineer to phone me to discuss and arrange installation (installation was to be done on July 24).
This was all fine and I mentioned the fact that I was doing this through the MSE offer as the engineer I called quoted the full price and I corrected him about the offer and he said that would be fine and would be applied.
The installation took place, all was fine until I got an email the next day (25 July) from Sky to 'confirm the bill' whereupon it stated I would be getting charged the FULL subscription price! Naturally, I called Sky customer services to rectify the situation and the online resolution was as follows.
I am aware these were limited, but I *did* order it straight away and all indications were that I was going to receive the offer, right up intil receiving the email from Sky. It is simply not fair to allow a customer to think this until they receive an email the day after everything has been installed! Did anybody else have this problem?

There hasn't been an update on the form that's been sent off for the current issue applying the 50% off offer. I have kept your details and will phone you once we've been updated on the situation, or if it doesn't update in the next couple of days I will escalate this further for you. Hi Mr McVicar,
The CRF is still pending so I escalated this to my manager, she received an e-mail back saying that it is up to Martin Lewis to redeem this code for you, so if you could contact them they will be able to apply this. Sorry for the delay, thanks, Stephen.

I've checked into your account and the CRF is still showing as pending therefore it hasn't been processed to apply your offer yet. I will continue to check all day today and tomorrow, if it hasn't been resolved by tomorrow midday, I will escalate this for you for a quicker outcome. Thanks again, Stephen.

Hi there. I'm not sure if you have had this issue resolved yet, but I had the exact same issue - the half price came up on the page when I ordered, but because I lived in an apartment, Love Digital had to speak with me and confirm the order over the telephone.
Sky were unfortunately, utterly unhelpful and said that I would have to speak with Love Digital. Thankfully, Love Digital were great! I called them up, explained the situation, and within 10 minutes, the situation was rectified and I was given reference number and a number to call at Sky if I wanted to be assured that the offer had now been applied. Hope you get sorted.0
