Why are people taking water that they know they are going to have to ditch at security, surely you just buy it/fill up an empty bottle once you've gone through?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

I normally make sure I have just drunk it and than bin it before security. The Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0

don't all the bogs at airports have taps over sinks that you could use ?0

I think I'll ask our Doris to do that.
She'll love asking for half-a-dozen 500ml plastic bottles to be filled up.0 -

I didn't think you could take an empty drinks bottle through to fill up on the other side of security! Showing my airport naivety here but can it just be a normal sports bottle?
I'm flying from Manchester next week and had thought I'd have to pack my bottle in my checked luggage but if I can take my empty gym bottle through it'll save me some money (and effort)************************************
