Afternoon all,
Redruby how awful for your poor husband. How awful for his family. No doubt his son will be traumatised for years. Thats if he ever recovers at all.:(
We went to see our Grandson last night and was highly honoured to be allowed to feed and change him. Apparantly they wont let anyone else feed/change him so i was highly honoured. I could see Daddy hovvering in the background. Obviously uncomfortable with me doing these things. "Matthew let go" i said "if you want me to babysit for him your going to have to let me get to know him". I said. He apologised and said he was finding it hard to let go. I reminded him i'd had 6 babies of my own and i ought to know what i am doing by now. He agreed but he still found it difficult. My guess is that he isnt going to want my daughter to go back to work at all. I cant fault him for that.
News from my house. Well after finally doing a system restore on my pc yesterday and completely screwing it up, Ive had to reload Windows from scratch (Or rather hubby has). Ive been trusted with loading the updates, security bits and peices and i'm finally using it again. It will take ages to get used to it again though.Judi going on the premise of "what's his is yours" I'll allow you to treat me to the food and drink on our next date!
Anyway, i'm off to do something useful. Obviously pc related the house comes second.;)

Would have been a costly mistake to make otherwise.0

i think he will gladly swap.
That's only because he wouldn't be able to lay his hands on enough cash to buy Claudia..... unlike Claudias husband who would get a near geriatric for pennies instead of pounds.:(This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Evening everyone
A late post from me. Been MIA again due to DB, SIL and DN visiting. Tried to do London on mse. MY DN who is 5 just wanted to go on a double decker bus, a boat and a train. We visited the Maritime museum at Greenwich, Greenwich park. travelled on the DLR and sat at the front. His parents got daily travelcards so we managed to do a boat from Greenwich into London and Tower Bridge opened as we had just passed it. We saw the Queens house too, after walking through St James Park. We took packed lunch, fruit and drinks too. But I still managed to spend quite a bit so goodness knows what I would have spent without it.
Os today lots of washing, hung out and finally drying off on airer. dw loaded and emptied. clothes sorted for holiday now just need to pack.
I wont be on for a couple of weeks as I am off to Cala n Bosch in Menorca. Hoping to go to Citudella as I think it is a really beautiful town. Will be leaving dh at the hotel as he just wants to chill but I love to explore. I don't think ds2 will want to go anywhere much either unless its the beach.
Moorhen - Hope today went ok ((hugs)) for your dd and her friend.
Redruby - what an awful shock for your dh and the mans son. ((hugs)).
Hester - glad you are out of hospital, make sure you rest.
JUdi - sorry belated congratulations on your grandson, love the name. You must be so proud.
Sorry if I have missed anyone. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care.0 -
