How do you get the car taken away with no wheels then? Once the engine is out, the front wheels won't support/steer the car on a front-wheel drive so how do you then get it off the driveway?

You will need to get someone with a Hiab recovery lorry, which has a crane on it so it can just lift the car into the air and onto the back of the lorry.

ok so if you cant a hiab with a crane, youve taken photo's, dated, you then proceed to disk cut the rest down, by starting from the front, then rear, then roof compleetly remove fluids from the car petrol tank and line power steering and brake res, youll find that if one scrap man spots you doing it he'll give you hand, and take away allot of the metal, including the axel and remaining copper wiring and cut steel once the body is chopped down its light enough for a few people to lift.

you then take another photo process of the cut down and then once done send the proof of destruction photo's to dvla who will count it as destroyed.

What a joke. The OP just wants to get shot of an old car.

What you are asking them to do on their driveway (if they have one) is unreal.

Unless your mechanically minded and the neighbours don't mind a pile of crap sitting outside next doors house its a no go.

I,m sure the council will have something to say as well.

No one has asked the OP to do anything.
What people have done is to give suggestions (which is more than you've done), and it's entirely up to them how they wish to proceed.
