I like cars that look like they were designed in the 50s. I'm really leaning towards getting a nissan figaro - the only thing is tat the engine is too weak - needs to be mx-5 powered at the very least.

I dont think a Mx-5 engine would fit, but a motorbike engine would :D

    Here is some inspiration

That would make quite the little sleeper

I seem to remember looking at the parkers guide years ago but it doesn't look like it's free anymore.

You can get a free 'premium' valuation from Glass's if you're prepared to hand over your details - just register for the free valuation, then hover over 'My Glass's', click on 'Edit Your Account', click on 'About me' on the left hand side, and fill in the double-starred boxes. After that, you'll have credit to upgrade your free valuation to a 'premium' one.

    not a lot!
a 53 plate is worth nothing according to parkers, so less that that!

Just checked my 05 Fiesta, i never realised it was worth so little.
Not that i want to sell but i thought it was worth more.

Nah, the Nissan SR20DET froman Pulsar (transverse configuration) is a proven swap into the K11 Micra on which the Figaro is based.
That's 300bhp at the wheels obtainable.

I you're going to do something, do it properly!

    I think Figaro is a K10 variant, not K11.
