All very interesting, and shows that the extension to the BPA called Popla is anything but independent, an absolute sham!

When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Yes I saw that thread, and commented on it, but this details what has been given to the parking companies from Popla, its worthy of a new thread IMO, just to highlight thisWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. Thanks for this, Stroma.
I have downloaded and read all of the documents. I see one glaring omission from their workshop - reminding PPCs of their obligations to adhere to dates and the obligations put on them to provide POPLA forms and codes no matter what appeal is made.
Taking something positive out of this, it is also a teach in for us. For example, their witness statement for an agent seems to me to be deficient and they have their landowner and agent sections well screwed.
There are some lawyers on here and I am sure that, if they study the documents, something will emerge. But one thing is clear, we will need to modify our standard appeal points. They can't run from the signage one, though and that is a big one.
I am also not happy that the chief adjudicator has taken it upon himself not to report PPCs who fail to adhere to POFA as the legislators demanded that he does. Letters to Transport Secretary needed here, I think.
But, it's a big game of chess and we can still work with what we know to be good appeal points.0
