Transferring sd card to new phone

Hi can anyone tell me if the apps I have saved to my sd card will still show up if I put this sd card into a new phone, both android. Please

    I doubt it.

    However if you sign in on your new phone using the same account as your old phone your purchased apps will be redownloadable without further payment.

    Also depending on your android version if above 4 i thought that they stopped the facility to allow transfer to SD card, also most times even on a rooted phone when you transfer to SD it is the internal SD card of the phone not your removable one.
