Good afternoon!
Please can anyone give me a rough idea of prices for a complete package?
I have a BT contract which comes to an end in August, and I pay £50 per month for just a phone and broadband.
Can anyone tell me if I can get all off the above for around about the same price as I was paying BT?
With many thanks in advance for any help.

£7.50 unlimited broadband and talk, and £9.99 line rental (paid 12 months in advance), Sky TV from £21.50. approx. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

The basic package with virgin will give you broadband, phone and tv for about £32/month.
The broadband will most likly be quicker than BT0 -
I only pay BT just under £30 a month for just phone and broadband. So I assume you're on a more expensive package than me.
Don't forget that the end of your contract is a good opportunity to haggle with BT if you can see better deals elsewhere. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

Virgin may not be an option for the OP.That gum you like is coming back in style.0

You will also need to consider that Virgin have data caps unless you are on the top package. That was why I switched from them. In fact my ADSL was not much slower than Virgins service at the time.
actually they dont have caps, they have traffic shaping. There is no limit on how much you can download.
a 30mb service with traffic shaping would still be alot quicker than say a 10mb (or less) ADSL service
However, as penrhyn points out, Virgin might not be available in the area. But theres no reason not to suggest it0 -
Hi everyone
Thank you so much for the replies, this is exactly what I had hoped to be able to get price comparisions.
Ectophile, I have absolutely no idea why our charges for the phone and broadband are so high. We very rarely use the landline to be honest and we thought seeing as we budget at least £50 for BT, then maybe we could get a tv package, all in all, for around the same monthly charge.
Once again thank you, I really appreciate the replies.0
