Poor quality product - installation compensation?

If you end replacing you need to find a plumber that doesn't take a day to fit a sink, our neighbour fitted our belfast sink in 20 mins.

Any standing water on a wooden worktop needs to be mopped up straight away. They need oiling every 2-4 months, that is just the nature of them. You don't have a defective one you just haven't kept up with the maintenance it needs.

Thanks, I didn't realise it needed to be done so frequently. The tin seemed to say it would last for years. Problem solved, I'll just give it another coat every couple of months.

This is the key to cutting maintenance to the minimum.

So it wasn't actually a chip at all then? Keep oiling the wood.
