Hi
I recently changed broadband/phone from madasafish to Plusnet (who are one and the same) because I was told by a company advisor that it would be cheaper with Plusnet (it's about the same but I now get unlimited usage)...I paid my bill for Madasafish last week and on joining Plusnet two days ago had to pay a month in advance...is this normal practice seeing it's the same company? just seems a bit odd paying twice in the same month
cheers

If you are now in credit with the fish company, then ask them to refund you the unused amount you paid.0

If I remember correctly - I changed from MAAF to PN a year ago and was refunded the exces amount paid to MAAF because of a billing date overlap.
As Quentin says, give PN CS a reminder call or join the PN member forum and ask in "accounts and billing". One of the PN staff will pick it up and hopefully sort it out.
I used the forum, it seems to achieve better and quicker results than 'phoning!0
