Parking fine south mimms

Have just received parking charge notice from Parking Eye for £100 as stayed 2 hours 46 mins. (£60 if paid quickly) did not see any signs and was partaking of refreshments in on site provider . Consider this fee exorbitant - do we need to pay or just ignore or pay a reasonable amount for the extra 46 mins? Some what concerned the company may pursue this through the courts - any advice out there?

Concerned you didn't come back (we have mostly all been on holiday!). Hope you found the advice you needed to APPEAL this and NOT to ignore it?!
