Hi. you are doing brilliant. keep it up but don't burn yourself out at work. keep chipping at those bills and you will see the light at the end of the tunnel xx

Thank you :). I hope so, just a little bit of light right now would be a bonus! :)

  • Managed to do some surveys tonight and not get disqualified which is what I like! Just keep thinking that no matter how small it is what I earn its something i didnt have before. That also goes for simples things like getting a cheaper brand if im shopping. The difference in price can go off the debt!

I've been storing all my clubcard coupons for when i go back to uni, but since you can double up on clothing all year round + i'm in desperate need for a new pair of joggers for the gym I may go to Mr T tomorrow and get me some new joggers for 0p! :D and hopefully that will help me stay motivated!.

Currently got nearly £1 in my paypal acc just from Qmee in the last few days, will cash it out soon and put it towards the OD. I need to do this this time, I can't stay in debt and I can't stay this unhappy for ever.

Back to the drs next week about my depression, I'm hoping I'll feel better soon!

    MAC!

  • Very down in the dumps today, but determined to clear this debt. I have no life whilst im skint.

    Current goals:

    1. Clear £540 overdraft by christmas currently £20/£540
    2. Lose at least a stone by christmas and tone up
    3. Start dissertation reading soon.
    I WILL GET THERE.
  • Watch out, possible rant ahead

I am so peed off with myself that dispite the overdraft payment reducing my debt I dont seem to have made any real dent this month. All my money seems to have gone on nothing yet again. Think I need to start keeping a spending diary so that once I am back at university I can eliminate the things I dont need.

If I am going to pay off this overdraft by christmas I need a serious kick up the back side... anyone.. anyone?.... as many kicks up the backside as possible please!

I also hate being a woman... I think that time is making me a grouchy nightmare :rotfl: PMT go to hell!

On a positive note I am tucked up in bed with a cuppa and cosy! And tomorrow is another day. I'm just happy im not being nagged at about the overdraft anymore! 52000 pennies will disappear I have 528 of them in my room just need to bank them! :rotfl: soo 51472/52000 to go!!!!
    I WILL GET THERE.
  • Set a budget so you know how much you will pay off each month. Root through debt section as loads of people are doing it.

Join swag bucks- was quick way to up the pennies a few months ago when I was on it.

Look at 1% at time challenge - you sound like you like the calculations and the challenge. And you sound like the company of others will motivate you.

If you crack this now, it will change the rest of your life for the better. It's a great thing that you are dealing with it. Feel proud

    Back to lurking
  • Helloo and good luck! Will keep my eye on your progress :)
  • Hope you pick yourself up soon. You should be proud that you have seen the road you were heading on and you are changing the direction.

Would love to turn clock back and never be here but we know that's impossible. So just take it step by step and you will get there.

Do a realistic budget and work out your min payments towards your debt. If you know when your realistic end will be it's always possible to move this closer.

Spend diary is a good ideal i started one friday and can't believe all the little odd bits that creep in. It's no wonder i was always spending more than i thought.

look forward to seeing you win this
