Help! Iphone dial code #004#
I was looking to turn off my voicmail and found ehow first and they said type in #004# which i did and it disables a lot of things like call forwarding not just voicmail, but when i tried *004# to re-activate it is saying error.
Have i turned off anything i need?
(also found another website with correct info of dialing 1760 that turns off voicmail)

AFAIK, it's the network that has to disable/enable voicemail on your request.
Some handsets can probably do some pseudo-voicemail by recording the call if there is reception, but you don't answer the call.0 -

when i dailed 1760 the recording said voicmail turned off.
More concerned the other code deactivated several things.0 -
#004# only cancels diverts to voicemail and does not remove voicemail itself, you can still dial your vm number0
