A while back Martin spoke of a 4 minute water timer for when in the shower, device that makes the shower cut off after four minutes... Anyone know where I can get my hands on one?! Thanks

Most just use Father to replicate the functionality.0

Most of the water companies will send out a free 4 minute mini "egg timer" to you as a customer for use in the shower (as well as other gizmos such as flow restrictors) but one that "makes the shower cut off after four minutes".. ..I don't think so.0

If your water company is on this page they all seem to have something for free- worth a look maybe?
Sorry I cant remember where i got my free shower timer.... I just cant cut my shower time down to 4 minutes though.. I always turn the timer over when the 4 minutes is up to start it again but even doing that it does still help to keep track of the length of time
ebay are selling them for £1.99 posted but it seems a bit much for something people have got for free0 -

The way to do it is to turn the shower on and get wet all over, including your hair. Then turn it off whilst you soap yourself and shampoo your hair. Then turn it back on again to rinse off.
That what we do when we are in the caravan and we can make 20 litres of water do for the both of us (separately, the shower cubicle isn't big enough for us to get in together)
You could install a push button shower valve (like they have in gyms and swimming baths) which run for 30 seconds or so try http://www.tapshop.net/noncon2/Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
I use segments of the BBC breakfast program in the am for a shower. Can shower during the weather bulletin for example. Not sure how long that is though! But how long does it take it lather all over and then rinse off?Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0
