Triangle porting with Tmobile
Hi!
I have an old contract with T-mobile but am hoping to get a new one through a third party. As this is not technically an upgrade, they have said I can't keep the number. I'm therefore hoping to do a triangle port (T-mobile - other PAYG - T-mobile) but am unsure how long I should leave it before coming 'back' to T-mobile. On their website, "Whether the number is a recently disconnected T-Mobile number" is listed under the eligibility criteria for porting numbers. Does anyone have any experience/thoughts in this?
I know that this is an age-old question but as I haven't seen a thread for a while I thought I'd ask!
Many thanks

Ive done it quite a few times in the past as ive always been able to get a better deal as a new customer with a 3rd party then an upgrade with the actual company themselves.
Ive ported from T-Mobile into Orange and then left it 24 hours once the number ported across. Now they are EE, I think I would choose someone like o2 or 3 to port across to first.0
