Someone at work has caught her OH sexting, massive rows, he stopped but now she is sexting as in tit for tat, her OH is beside himself, saying stupid things like 'how can I trust you?' 'I can't believe you would do this' her reply 'well you started it, now their relationship is in tatters.

So does tit for tat ever work?

Well, she is a silly girl. With 1 stone she has set 2 birds loose

• Her OH was in the wrong for sexting in the first place, but now she has demonstrated that she believes it is acceptable
• She has also provided justification for her OH to give her a big row, because she has demonstrated that she thinks it is OK to give her partner a row for sexting

I would say that tit for tat definitely does work. Mainly as a rod for your own back.

How totally daft and hypocritical! Surely she got annoyed at him because sexting people was unacceptable in their personal relationship, so why then is it acceptable for her to do it? I think it's really childish and sounds something me and my sister would've done when we were eight or nine (Not the sexting of course )

Seriously, they both need to get a life, both as bad as one another, but if she wanted to ruin her relationship and not try and sort things out then shes going the correct way about it.

Tit for tat behaviour never works and is the kind of carry on best left behind in the playground. With regards to your colleague I don't think her relationship means much to her or her partner. If someone values what they have with a partner, they don't start sexting someone behind their back. For the one who discovers what has gone on to then do the same in revenge is a very dangerous game to play. I just hope there are no children caught up in this train crash of a relationship. The poor souls wouldn't stand a chance

Even if it does end up with the relationship ending, she's taught him exactly what it feels like to be on the receiving end of it. So he'll know exactly why it's not 'just a bit of fun', 'nothing serious' or other such excuses.

So, seeing as it sounds as though she's basically ended the relationship as a result of his actions, she is at least making the point very clear to him before he goes that what he did was very wrong. Which is a useful thing to learn.

Sounds like she's fancied someone for a while, and now has an excuse.

Never understood cheating, if you dont love or even like your partner, why stay with them??
