please help tax credits ...overpayment ???

£147.34 every 4 weeks since april 20130

when i put our incomes in the tax credit calculator it stated that i would be entitled to £641.36
joint income of £30193.00
previous income was £26022.00
im unsure what i should get/ or not
& unsure about £5000 disregard ???

ive just posted my renewal off today, so fingers crossed it gets there in time ( only posted it late due to alot of family problems )
just soo worried about having a large overpayment as still paying one off from 2 years ago ..

You will have 30 days from when they stop payments to ring them and do the renewal.
If you miss the 30 days - you can still get it renewed (up to 31 Jan 2014) for good cause - sounds like you have good cause with your FIL. That said, they don't always give it and if refused there isn't much you can do about it. So best to renew within 30 days of the claim stopping if you can't get through now. Sorry to hear about your FIL.

thanks ice queen... i did start filling in the form it is dated 17th july 2013,
just didnt fill it all in due to recieving news bout father in law...so its a trip to america to sort out funerals etc as were in uk ...just soo mithered with everything...ohh well nothing i can do about it now..
just hope i dont come back to a large overpayment/fine etc
