Purple pics with Finepix camera

My daughter and i bought Finepix F700 cameras about 2 years ago, ( at the same time )she does not use hers much I use mine quite a lot. Hers went funny about 2 months ago the pictures are now purple. At the shop they said it needed a new chip cost about £100. Now mine as gone the same thing.The cameras where about £299 so…

Glad we could help, as others, and now you, have found Fuji is very good for customer care, that sort of service is worth maybe paying a bit for more on initial price

BTW Fuji do "insurance", 5 year g'tee which includes accidental breakage and replacement if unable to reapair
Not sure if your repair would qualify as a "new" camera but maybe if it does for peace of mind for 5 years could be worht 70 quid or so to you
