Well, that's 7 doors sanded and undercoated, plus all the skirting, just the gloss to do tonight now - joy! Why anyone would choose painting and decorating as a career I don't know.
I'm not doing any more flying tonight as I want to get this finished. DH has been working in his office all day and is now cooking my tea and de-stoning the cherries I brought back from the allotment bless him. Think I'm having ten minutes:D

I may just have a hissy fit today. Been to town this morning and got what I needed except I still have all the party bags to get. Took Ozzy to vet to get his worming stuff and see when he's due for his jabs.
Came home knackered so took myself to bed while OH watched the kids this was at 4pm, 30 minutes later DS1 comes down to tell me OH has fallen asleep  so DS3 comes down with me and he falls asleep. Come up to livingroom to find OH didn't put Ozzy in his room and he's pooped and pee'ed. He's still sleeping now
Anyway i'm ready to start my flying, DS1 and DS2 can help.

Skinty have a (((HUG))) Now I remember why I never had cubs.......:D
Meal plan dusted off and tidied up - we've been living on salads through the really hot weather - Mr LW has asked for (surprise surprise) Qu0rn fillets in white wine sauce for dins on Lughnassadh.:o A$da shop done; only been there a couple of times, I'd thought it was a bit of a trundle, but it seems not if we go down the A5. I shall be adding it to the growing list of SMs we use.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

The best thing so far about the filming was seeing the gallows being constructed last week outside the court house. I'd love to have seen the faces on the crims arriving for their cases.
Flying - minimal today.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Congratulations to your DS1, mrs-mp :Tskint_breeder_5 wrote: »I love the Young Skints, but they are really doing my head in atm
I will be lurking, and will get back flying at some point this week
Skinty, your children/DoM/EX obviously take after you - never do anything unless you can do it 200%! Yes, we can laugh now at the way you tell it, but I bet it wasn't funny at the time. Glad DD3 is back in the fold.Honey_Bear wrote: »Ionafan - has DH made it out of the garage yet?
Yes, I do drag him out occasionally! Today we went to sort out our new bus passes and pick up some lights at Merry Hell shopping centre, and then he offered to take me for coffee at that nice Viennese chain of cake shops beginning with Druck... - who am I to refuse or even resist such a kind offer?Returning home, reality was still dust and packing cases everywhere, but progress is being made and we are beginning to see things like plasterboard and tiles being added to rooms rather than just stripping them out.
I started writing this at 2.00 pm but had to prepare a late lunch after dealing with more workmen and chasing up orders and plans. Apologies for not commenting on anything that's happened in the meantime, but I haven't caught up with the thread yet.0 -
Ohhhh we're on this weeks email!!!!
Flying today - I got a hoover from someone on Freecycle - its the same as I have so I stripped all the bits from the free one that will wear on my one to keep as back ups, washed filters and hoovered some spilt sugar up from the kitchen floor
I also made some scrummy homemade strawberry jam [jam was so hot It cracked a jar] cleaned up spilt jam
Took DS to a Special Ops day - they learnt to build dens, start a fire [safely lol] how to forage for food and survival tips - cost £5 for 5 hours
Took DD to Primari along with my Mum - spent money - gulp
Also went to Asd@ and spent more money - gulp
Skint - huge hugs just for you
Dusty - thinking of you and yours x
