Cancellation of Orange contract

Hi,

My orange contract comes to an end on 13th September 2013. I am not planning to extend it or stay with orange therefore I am not upgrading. I've been with orange for almost 4 years now but unfortunately the offers that are currently present on the market are much better than what Orange is offering.
I've been researching on ways of how to cancel your contract etc and it seems as orange service can be very difficult to deal with. I'm the type of person where I cannot deal with the person over a phone, I always fall for their suggestions and cannot say no. Everything seems to be easier over a letters/email, where everything is on a paper and none can try and sell me anything.
So my question is: is there any other way of cancelling your contract? E.g sending a letter or an email? If so, where could I find the addresses?
Thank you so much for your help.

You can only cancel by phone, according to my brother who works for them. Would you accept it if they tried to match your intended contract? If not, then perhaps you could get somebody else to deal with orange on your behalf.

See my post above. I did this by phone, but they didn't cancel my contract back in February and I've only just realised (my own fault, I know). Make sure you keep an eye for rogue payments, or cancel with your bank.
