Just back from emergency GPs, the doc said I have a stye in my eye and the rash is some form of dermatitis and gave me 2 steroid creams, saying one was for my face, am a bit unconvinced by his diagnosis especially when he said the birthmark on my eye and forehead were dermatitis too! Its rather painful, so will very sparingly apply the cream and keep an eye to it!RIP Iain

Just caught up, HH Sorry to hear you have been in Hospital, hope you feel better soon. 3 stone!! Hope it wasn't an amputation:D
Judi - Congratulations :beer::j:beer::j:T
Jools I had shingles on my eye/face twice, and boy was it sore, I would get a second opinion asap, as the sooner you get the right treatment the better, but you probably know that!:o
We got the Wii up and running again yesterday, and it confirmed that I was 1.5 stone lighter than the last time I got weighed on there (and think I went up after that too), so that was reassuring. Not had a great day diet wise today, but will be back to it tomorrow.
Been doing some paperwork again, seem to be on the winning side now. Sent my gas & electric meter readings off as changing suppliers. Not sure when my case of wine will be on its way? Did some pruning of some of the shrubs which were trying to overgrow the fruit trees. Picked some Blueberries, we have a very good crop this year, two apple trees doing well, one has died over the winter, and the double plum hasn't fruited, so trimmed that up a bit too. Groomed Skye and gave her a hair cut ready for her hols. Took Skye for a couple of laps around a local dog walking field. Made tea, chicken breasts, mine stuffed with cheese and wrapped with bacon, with cabbage & broccoli, DH's plain, with cooked new potatoes crisped in the oven with the chicken, and baked beans. Watched a bit of TV not impressed with tonight, and so back with the paperwork, but having a break atm.
DS is doing their kitchen with help from future FIL, we offered to help too, but it is awkward living so far away, so we put our hand in our pocket - again!!
Not sure what I am doing on a MS site today, as treat myself to a new camera, case & SD card :eek::D:o, it should arrive before we go away, but my old one is 7 years old, it is still OK, but I wanted a better zoom, so it can be my birthday pressie. Will E-Bay it once I get the new one. Also had a guy around to look at making us some new wrought iron gates for the top of the drive, the wooden ones are past their best.
Did I tell you I caught up with Jayward last week in Leeds, she is doing OK, just thinks she has nothing to say, well not sure I have either.
Take care everyone - ((hugs)), spoons, positive vibes as required.

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
Donny gal
We are thinking of getting iron gates as well as our wooden one is sagging and not nice.
I miss you and Jayward on here.
Great to see Hester back and hope she gets better really soon.
Congratulations to Judi, dd and baby boy.
Hugs to all."This site is addictive!"
