I don't like card readers

    That is true of the HSBC Secure Key but not of the card reading devices being discussed.

    I hate the card reader, such a customer unfriendly thing in my opinion. It means you have to have the darn thing on you at all times. I find it frustrating when I want to amend an existing standing order on Nat West online, if I don't have the thing with me I can't do it.

    Halifax however it's easier, existing payments, amendments straight forward can do anytime, anywhere. When you set up something new they phone you on your mobile - now that is something I tend to have with me most of the time!!!
