I've only done Runescape. I tried a couple others, but Runescape got me hooked at the time I Was interested in building a character up, so I basically stuck at that for far too long :D

(prior just) With RS3 being released, I've been logging in again for a while to do more quests and such like. I don't think I'd want to start from scratch with it currently. I just like abusing my levels to do fun stuff and see how hard it is with a decent account. Am looking to see what divination brings however, and whether its something I'd enjoy levelling.

WoW - couldn't get into it at all.
Final Fantasy XI - played for about 8 years and only recently quit - the subscriber numbers have dropped to where they need to do a new server merge really now
Currently waiting till the next beta phase of Final Fantasy XIV rebooted comes online - will be drifting over to that when it goes to retail release - it's a bit more casual friendly than XI was, although XI has eased up a LOT since EU release in terms of how unforgiving it was (10% exp loss for your current to next level on death was NASTY!)

The only MMORPG that I ever really got into (and boy did I get into it) was Final Fantasy XI. Had some really good times with that game and made a lot of good online friends.

I played it from April 2006 till maybe a year or so back. Spent some serious time online playing that, my wife is much happier since I quit!

Wanted to get Final Fantasy XIV reborn when it's released but I've been told I'm getting divorced if I do!

XIV's finally shaping up to be a good game Gra - the most time-sinky stuff in there as it presently stands are the dungeons which are capped at 90 minutes, so it's not as if it's a 5 hour long exp party or anything like that.

Comes out retail about this time next month... open beta in the next week or so (rumour is about Aug 9th) and characters carry over into retail... you know you want to ;-)

Sad to watch XI die like it has done - but I'm safe - I MET my husband on there, so he can't really object to the gaming!

I originally got hooked on a 2D MMORPG called Tibia.

Wasted years of my life on that.

Just as I'd kicked that habbit, a friend introduced me to WoW.

Wasted another few years of my life on that. Hands down the greatest game I have ever played though.

Then I tried Warhammer Online, was fun and new but after a few weeks I got bored.

Went back to Wow eventually and wasted another couple of years of my life on that again.

Then I tried Guild Wars 2, really liked it, found a good guild, but soon stopped playing that. The world became too inactive but I may play it again.
Faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

I'm another FFXI ultra-addict. I pretty much lost seven years of my life to that game, but met some amazing people with whom I am still friends to this day.

We are all meeting back up again on 14 when it comes out at the end of August and we are counting down the days!

I agree that it becomes necessary, as you get older and have family commitments etc... to choose a game that does not have a huge amount of timesink events - such as Sky meets on 11 which could take an entire evening easily - so it definitely looks as though they've taken that on board with 14.

My twins are about to hit five years old (next week!) and so I'm excited to go back to something for ME (and Mr Sessie!) as we have put gaming, to a great degree, "on hold" for the last few years. Once they are in bed on a night, it's off for adventures we go!!!

I might call my second character Martin Lewis so look out for me!
