what is acceptable screen quality for second hand?

ok, I went back to the store today and explained my thoughts that it is unacceptable. I showed them the movie and asked them to look at it in a darker area.
they explained to me that the phone was a class B product and that it was displayed as class B and this is not a high standard but of saleable quality as class B.
They also explained the difference in prices for the different class of product. I expressed how unhappy I was and disappointed at the quality of product bought from GAME and the staff said that although they are confident that the product was not mis-sold and was very much legal, they would go against their policy and allow me to exchange it.
I'm not sure how much of this is true and there is a possibility that it might be BS, but if it is true then I would have to say the assistant was very helpful and had my best interests at heart.
I don't feel great about it because i had to spend £90 to get an S3 because they had no other S2's. on the other hand i do have a much nicer phone. I'll just need to figure out how i'll afford to eat this month.
