Youve done what you can, sod it, just try and forget about it! Maybe send one more email asking for a breakdown, be straight to the point and abrupt - no being nice!

Its only a couple days wages. You never know she might tell one of her friends how generous you are and then you can get off with one of them
You could always sneak into the flat/house and leave the money on her bedside table, that'll make her feel special!;)0 -
if you are going to pay her, pay her in 10 pences or something. She's made your life crap so at least try to make her's a bit more difficult.
Also no doubt your story will tug on the heartstrings of a few lovelies so keep your chin up.
If all house fails has she got a fit sister/cousin/friend/mum?I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Ramada/Days Inn BRG thread.0 -

Sadly no, she was the picky of the bunch, just a shame she was a complete and utter biyatch!0 -
Well I bit the bullet and emailed her yesterday. Its clear she's just forwarding them onto her mums work for her to write the reply then simply copying and pasting it. Can spot it a mile off as she doesn't have to volcabulary to write whats coming through.
They're basically saying the £360 that was in the "bill account", has been used to clear things she was soley contracted to i.e. Sky and BT (had another 12 months or so to run). Surely she cant use the money for this?? Surely that £360 should have been spent on paying sevices and utilites whilst we were living there??
They're now saying that they've paid all they're going to pay and are being very difficult about telling me whats outstanding, getting paperwork to me etc...........0 -
Well, it sounds like a really poo situation for you and I hope things get better soon. As you said, it is always the one who gets shafted emotionally that is also left in the lurch with everything else - I guess if someone can treat you that badly in a relationship it is only a small step to screwing them over in other aspects of life too!
As it stands, I would just maintain your position that unless she can prove to you what is owed and account for the money paid towards bills out of joint funds then there isn't much she can do. Does she really expect you to just send her money without any idea how much is owed and for what?
As I said before, if the bills are in her name then she will be liable for the whole amount, and if they are in joint names then you should be able to request copies, but they will not pursue just one of you. However, if you are the one left in the property and the services are still being supplied, you should try and get this sorted sooner rather than later. It might be worth contacting your utility suppliers to let them know of the situation (not necessarily all the ins and outs, but you know what I mean!) as they might be able to ensure that she doesn't remove her name from the account until the matter has been settled - not sure how this all works, but if you ask they might be able to help!0 -

Coming from a woman, dont bother getting in touch again. There was money in the 'bill account' that has covered things, you've asked several times for copies of bills and she's not being that forth coming.
Stuff her, if she wanted the money she'd have asked for it by now. Lucky escape if you ask me, but your obviously hurt and I know exactly what it's like when the other person has cheated!
Just forget about it and move onto your wonderful, happy and fulfilled life

She's been quite shrewed in that it seems she's paid half of the joint bills namely Council Tax and Powergen and is leaving me to pay the other half, which amounts to £260. Now when we parted compay, taking into account the £360 in the bill account, TV license rebate and BT deposit she'd get back my share was only £100. Now I know you may say its only £160 diff, but I'm so broke at the min my family is buying my food! They have confirmed that the £360 has been used to pay her sole contractual obligations but still go onto say that they are quite comfortable that they have paid all they wil have to.0

Pay half the powergen and tax bill and make sure they note on the account that you paid it and then bye bye bye to her, you dont even need to tell her to be honest
