Air Mauritius - successful claim for me/family unsuccessful!

I made a claim for a flight that was delayed for 12 hours in 2007 and recently received a cheque for just over £1500. The rest of my family who joined us for our wedding are also now trying to claim but are being told that they cannot claim as their claim falls outside the timescale. Dont understand why they paid out for me but are not paying out for my family! Very strange! Anyone else had this problem? Jayne

If the flight was before 25th July 2007, that is over 6 years ago and they are out of time.
