I've just received an email from Groupon offering half price Sky subscription for 12 months when paying £9 for a voucher code (http://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/national-deal/bskyb/24667056?nlp=&CID=UK_CRM_1_0_0_207&a=1664)

This somehow seems too good to be true. Has anyone bought anything like this before from Groupon and can confirm that you can get the basic package with Sky+ HD box for just £10.75 for 12 months and then cancel?

I got the same email and was considering it (for the half-price sport mainly, so I can then cancel Sky Sports on Virgin...)

Over 2000 have bought it so far though apparently...

As we're stuck with Virgin until at least next May (despite their regular system dropouts), I was hoping to clarify if the Sports bundle at £21.75 a month for a year was available without any of the broadband stuff...
